Cleaners in St John's
St John's has its own high street, its own park and its own feel, quite separate from the city across the river. We clean homes, student lets, shops and small offices right across WR2.
Cross the bridge from the city centre and St John's begins almost immediately. The Bull Ring is a proper local high street rather than a retail park, and the streets fanning out from it — Comer Road, McIntyre Road, the terraces off Henwick Road and Malvern Road — are mostly late-Victorian and Edwardian: built tight together, small front rooms, long narrow gardens, and original features hiding under decades of paint.
Further out the character changes again to 1930s semis and post-war estates through Lower Wick and Dines Green, with bigger kitchens, more bathrooms and considerably more carpet. Cripplegate Park and Chapter Meadows bring the other reality of a river-adjacent neighbourhood, which is mud. If you have a dog and a daily walk down to the Severn, your hallway and your stair carpet will tell us about it — carpet and upholstery cleaning is one of the things we are set up for.
The University of Worcester's St John's campus on Henwick Grove sits in the middle of all this, and it has turned a good deal of the surrounding housing into private rented accommodation. That creates a very particular rhythm: houses handed back in late June and early July, agents and landlords needing a full end-of-tenancy clean turned round before the next group arrives, and properties where realistically the oven, the fridge and the bathroom grout are the whole job.
For residents we do regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning, deep cleans, carpets and laundry. For landlords, and for the independent shops and salons along the Bull Ring, we quote tenancy turnarounds and commercial work. All of it eco-friendly, insured and DBS-checked.
Terraces and on-street parking
Most of the older St John's streets have no driveway, and what parking there is fills up by early evening. Daytime slots tend to work best here for that reason alone, and we will always park considerately rather than occupy a resident's space for half a day.
Summer tenancy turnarounds
The window between one student tenancy ending and the next beginning is short, and everyone near the campus is competing for the same fortnight. Come to us with your changeover dates rather than in the last week of June, and we can quote the end-of-tenancy clean without either of us rushing it.
